On The Day I Was Born

Mommy was calling around telling everyone we were about to bring me into the world! Doesn't she look great!


Mommy was so happy that soon she would lay her eyes on me! Actually it didn't happen as quickly as she thought it would. She ended up having to transfer to another room where the doctors would perform a c-section.


Here I am just a few minutes old. Nice, plump, and red! I was a whopping 9lbs 11oz! No wonder a c-section was called for!


Here I am with my parents for the first time. They were so happy. Mommy even cried cause she loved me from the moment she first laid eyes on me!

Mommy and Daddy went in for a scheduled inducement on August 30. Mommy was given a drug that would help with contractions and Daddy watched eagerly as she was given an epidural. Mommy's bags of water were broken and then everyone waited. and waited, and waited. I wasn't coming, so after almost 24 hours my mommy's doctor decided that we shouldn't wait too long and it was time to get me outta there. What a relief for Mommy. Finally around 4 am I was born via c-section. It was such an ordeal, but everyone was so happy.
