Prelude

One more month to go until I've made it to one year! I have to say that being eleven months is definately a difference from ten, nine, eight and so on. I have accomplished so much and have finally made it to walking! Although I am not a professional, just yet, I practice every day and I can't believe I have waited this long to walk. There are so many more exciting things to do up here. For one I can get into trouble a lot easier!! hee hee! Being a toddler has many advatages, I can climb things like the futon in the living room and up and out of my little play area that Daddy created for me. My menu of food has also broadened. Soon I'll be eating the same things that my parents have for dinner; although, I think I will still stick to the basics when it comes to cheerios, mmm my favorite finger food! I wear clothes made for 12-18 month olds because I am such a big boy. Clapping, dancing, placing my toys onto high surfaces, and picking very tiny things out of the carpet are just a few things that I enjoy doing. I take a morning and afternoon nap and have been very good about sleeping through the night with the occasional rough patch of course (can't make it too easy for my parents). When I want out of my crib after a nap, I simply make noises or call for 'mama' or 'dada' which gets them coming for me quick. Well, I hope that you enjoyed this little prelude to a one-year old.
