Happy Birthday to me!

Present for me... you shouldn't have!

I think I see something.

Is it what I think it is?

Hmm... I wonder if this Elmo bites?

Look at these bath-time buddies

Wow look at all my presents!
The day started with a happy birthday kiss from my mommy. We played, ate breakfast, and watched my favorite cartoon, Dora the Explorer. Soon it was nap-time but I didn't think that I needed one since I am a one year old now. Mom explained to me that even big boys need naps, I had to confirm it with Daddy though. (Sure enough he was taking one himself) For lunch we went to Quang where I ate some fish for the very first time. mmm, mmm, delicious. After lunch came a trip to Dr. Liebo. She examined me and I was cute for her.(weight: 22 lbs 4 oz 42%, height: 31 in 97%, HC: 48.5 cm 95%) Then a nurse came in and before I knew it I got poked twice with needles. OUCH! Who takes a kid to get shots on his birthday. (Next year Mom, I don't think that I'll let it slide.) After the visit at the doctor's office I was in a grumpy mood, so my parents took me birthday shopping, and I fell asleep during the ride home. Boy, was I pooped! When I awoke my favorite tv program, Sesame Street, was on. Before I knew it Grandpa and Grandma were over, showering me with hugs and kisses. They brought me and my mommy presents. (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the nice gifts.) I also got some Timberland and Newbalance shoes, size 6. I have big feet! My favorite gift was the Hokey Pokey Elmo, he makes me giggle. All in all I had a great birthday, minus the shots! I hear there is a celebration getting closer every day. I am so excited.
