The Things I Can Do! (19 Months)

Coloring is so much fun, but it is hard work!


Growing up is a lot of fun. I am learning new things and saying new words every day. I enjoy coloring, bubbles, puzzles, reading, singing, and my new motor skill is jumping (a work in progress). Another favorite of mine is watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I get so excited when I see ol' "mouse" that I start dancing and don't forget the spinning! A typical day for me is waking between 7 and 7:30, eating a hearty bowl of oatmeal (the flavored ones;)), watching the "mouse", playing, taking a 3 hour nap mid-day (so my mommy can rest), then I wake up with a ravaging appetite, exploring and playing never get old, hang out with Daddy, eat dinner, bathe, help with brushing my teeth, read a story and then it's 8 o'clock "nite nite" for me. I think that my days are pretty full and if they aren't my parents find things for me to do. I am learning not only to play with things but to put them away when I am finished with them. I help pick up my toys, help unzip my jacket, turn the TV off, put my bath toys away, and I say "all done" when I am finished eating. Things I do out of the house are playgroup, playdays with Marinus and Co; go to great-grandma's house, playing at the mall playarea, and my most favorite is swimming with Daddy!
