Feeding the Ducks and One Swan

I was the first to toss some crumbs in the pond and Daddy was afraid I was going to fall in!


The moment the crumbs fell in the pond all the ducks came to get a nibble.


Daddy showed me how to feed the ducks without falling in.


This pond had a ton of ducks and boy were they hungry!

Most of the birds were in front of us, but some went to the other side, just in case we wanted to throw some food that way.

Mommy said, "no Daddy, it's a canadian goose."

We decided to explore around Highland Park and came across this pond. As soon as we walked closer to it, the birds swam over to the walkway. We decide that they must be use to people coming to feed them. That became a fact when a boy and his Mommy arrived. They let us have some cereal to feed the birds and that goose would have taken my little finger if I had gotten it any closer! After that excitement, Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time for us to leave.
