Visiting the Nation's Capital
While in Virginia, visiting our nation's capital was a must! First we drove to the metro station and rode the metro into D.C. That was very exciting, but the rythmic motions almost had Little Peter and I sleeping! Once we got to our stop we headed over to the White House! Mommy told me that our president lived there and I just had to get my picture taken. You know, I'll be in there some day ;) Next we stopped at the park across the way and as soon as we sat down on a park bench some birds came right up to us! Great-Aunt Jessie said that they are probably use to people feeding them, so we jumped on the bandwagon and feed them some of our goldfish crackers. Soon we headed over to meet Great-Uncle Peter for lunch. After lunch it was time for us to check out some of the sights. We visited two museums, one was full of artwork, and the second was the Air and Space museum. We saw a simulation of a rocket blast off and a hot air balloon; however, I wanted to take the balloon as my own. We had a full day and when we went home Peter and I passed out on the metro!

it would've been hilarious if jonah was wearing an 'impeach bush't-shirt while standing in front of the white house.
