Morning Walk with Mommy

The first thing I saw on this walk was a squirrel. He was high up in a tree eating an acorn.


We took a short cut to the duck pond and came out on the other side.


They came closer and closer...


But once they saw that we had no food for them, they lost interest...


and swam away.


After the duck pond we headed up towards the the water plant and walkway.




I was tempted to jump in this, but Mommy told me that the yellow was there for precaution, so it was not safe to walk on.


So I just looked.

I was walking faster than Mommy today! There were a lot of worms out and Mommy let me hold one. It was very squirmy!


The fountain had no water in it, but the city workers were working on the garden. (I call it a desert; although, there are a few things sprouting from the ground.)
