Happy Birthday Lily Emo!!!

Elijah is now four months old and it seems like the time has just flown by!!!! I can't believe how much he can do. Elijah prefers tummy time over lying on his back and is getting better and better at it; he can lift himself up to a small push-up and has rolled over a few times from his tummy to his back. I think Elijah likes to suck on his hand more than his pacifier and is becoming more and more interested in tasting anything that comes near his mouth. I think that my big brother duties might kick in early, meaning I'll have to make sure he doesn't eat anything that he isn't suppose to!!! Today we went to Baby Eli's four month baby wellness check-up and these are his measurements: 66.4cm, 18lbs 14oz, and his HC is 17.3cm. He has a great growth curve and Dr. Schulte is very happy with his progress. I felt like such a big boy when I got to watch the doctor give Eli a check-up. Elijah also got some shots and he didn't like that one bit. I agree with him, because I also got shots; flu season is coming. I let Elijah know that he would be okay because the nurse puts a band-aid on and gives you a sticker.
Elijah has also been introduced to solid food.... I think it's kind of watery, but Momma told me that he is still learning and until he is use to being spoon fed his cereal will be a bit runny.
I love being an older brother and watching Baby Eli grow and learn. I know what he's going through and have been there, so it will be easy for me to comfort him and teach him new things. Momma and Dada show me that loving and caring for Elijah is one of the best jobs that a big brother can do and I intend to do it well.
